Dr. Mary Clark, DACM, LAc., is a board-certified acupuncturist recognized for her comprehensive, integrative approach to care. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1995) and a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture (2010). After relocating to the United States in 2014, she graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture & Massage College in Florida and later earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from the Pacific College of Health and Science in California.
With clinical experience dating back to 1998, Dr. Clark has extensive training in Medical, Therapeutic, and Traditional Chinese Massage. Although she no longer practices massage, this foundation continues to inform her systems-based and hands-on approach.
Her clinical focus includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, women’s health, digestive disorders, mood concerns, complex chronic disease, and integrative oncology support. She works collaboratively with medical teams to help patients navigate treatment, reduce side effects, and improve quality of life.
In 2026, Dr. Clark completed the Advanced Functional Medicine Clinician™ (AFMC) credential through the Kharrazian Institute, one of the most rigorous postgraduate programs in functional medicine. This advanced training further strengthens her expertise in supporting patients with complex chronic disease. Within the scope of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, she integrates health marker review, herbal medicine, targeted supplementation guidance, and evidence-informed lifestyle and nutritional strategies to address complex health patterns. Her approach complements conventional medical management and does not replace primary medical care.
Dr. Clark’s philosophy of care is deeply rooted in the conviction that treating patients is a privilege. She offers compassionate, skillful, and integrity-driven care. Her philosophy emphasizes personalized treatments that address specific health concerns while enhancing overall well-being.
Dr. Clark currently serves as Vice President of the North Carolina Society of Acupuncture and Asian Medicine (NCSAAM). For the past four years, she has been an active board member dedicated to advancing the profession and strengthening the acupuncture community across North Carolina.
